A heartfelt gathering at a friend’s farm — a little work, shared laughter, soulful music, and a nourishing millet lunch.

We spent the day in simple harmony, bonding through farm tasks and stories, and ended with soulful tunes late into the night that echoed the joy of being together. Moments like these remind us that true celebration lies in connection.

Our Mappillai Samba idli also had its own little fan club that day!
We prepared the batter at home and carried it along with our 50-idli maker pan. By dinner time the idlis were happily steaming away, served with a delicious sambar — and everyone fell in love with them instantly. One of our friends became such a big fan that he introduced the idli in all his workshops. And from there, our little invention quietly travelled from one workshop to another… spreading its fame far beyond that farm evening!
